Our Staff

Body Awareness Physical Therapy, Inc. prides itself in the quality of care provided by our highly trained licensed staff members. Our clinical staff has a combined experience level of 53 years. We believe that uniformity of our treatment philosophy is our greatest asset. Our staff regularly sets time aside to share knowledge, review case studies, and attend continuing education courses in order to best provide our patients with the highest level of care along with the latest advances in treatment techniques and research within the physical therapy field.

Chrissie Morgan
Chrissie Morgan, PT

Chrissie Morgan, PT

Chrissie is a licensed physical therapist. She received a Bachelor's degree in Health Science with a certificate in physical therapy in 1994 from California State University, Northridge. She went on to practice in the orthopedic setting specializing in sports medicine and orthopedics. Chrissie's work with overhead athletes allowed her to travel to France to treat and train professional water polo players for several years before opening Body Awareness Physical Therapy, Inc. in Costa Mesa, California in 2000. She opened a second location in 2004 in San Clemente, California.

Chrissie continues her love of treating shoulders while adding an interest in women's health and craniosacral therapy. She now offers a women's health specialty in both offices for prenatal, postnatal, and pelvic pain. She is one of the few physical therapists in California to treat male pelvic pain. Chrissie currently lectures yearly to the urology department of UCI Medical Center and well as functions as a teacher's assistant for continuing education courses of the Movement Balance System as developed by Shirley Sahrmann. She also lectures within the physical therapy community regarding shoulder rehabilitation and injury prevention. Other interests include working with the San Clemente High School Dance team in injury prevention and rehabilitation.

Chrissie lives in San Clemente with her husband and 2 beautiful children- Luci and Nathan. She enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, yoga, Pilates, hiking, jogging and laughing.


Tammy Iglehart

Tammy Iglehart, PT

Tammy Iglehart is a licensed physical therapist, certified athletic trainer and certified strength and conditioning coach. She started her sports medicine career while doing her undergraduate study at the University of North Dakota. She was inducted into the UND Sports Hall of Fame as athletic trainer for the 1983 NCAA Div. I National Champion Ice Hockey Team. She earned a Master's degree in exercise physiology at Colorado State University, and worked there as an Assistant Athletic Trainer working with all men's and women's NCAA sports.

In 1991 Tammy completed her physical therapy degree at University of Colorado. She then worked in outpatient orthopedic settings in Denver and Vail, CO. Her specialty is sports medicine, orthopedics and osteopathic manual therapy. She has over 25 years experience working with athletes; 8 years in Division I NCAA athletics and 17 years in the private sector working with high school, recreational, professional and Olympic athletes. She has done extensive continuing education, studying in the areas of spine rehabilitation, treatment of the throwing athlete, foot and lower kinetic chain biomechanics and bracing/orthotics.

Tammy moved to Newport Beach in 2006 and finds the beach lifestyle equally enjoyable as the Colorado Mountains. She spends her spare time reading, exercising and keeping her Jack Russell Terrier "Turbo" out of trouble.


Donna Cespon

Donna Cespon, PT

Donna is a licensed physical therapist and board certified orthopedic specialist. She received Bachelors of Arts in Psychology prior to earning her Masters of Physical Therapy degree in 1992. She practiced in the outpatient orthopedic setting before opened her own private practice in 1998 in Irvine, California where she specialized in treating shoulder injuries. She Donna has completed over 25 continuing education courses in her pursuit of knowledge of the mechanics of the body and treatment techniques. Other accomplishments include lecturing and teaching within the physical therapy community on shoulder rehabilitation, movement dysfunction, and postural assessment. She has recently added craniosacral therapy to her long list of treatment techniques.

Donna is a mother of three beautiful children ages 5, 4, and 2. She resides in Corona Del Mar and when she is not at work and can find some time for herself, she enjoys rock climbing, hiking, jogging, mountain biking, paddling, swimming, yoga, reading, and crochet/ knitting.


Lynzi Irvine

Lynzi Irvine, PT

Lynzi is a licensed physical therapist. She earned her Bachelors degree in Exercise Sports Science/Pre-Physical Therapy at Vanguard University. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Chapman University in 2005. She specializes in orthopedic physical therapy and women's health, though enjoys seeing all types of orthopedic patients.

Since having her son (now 1 years old), Lynzi has especially enjoyed working with pregnant and postpartum patients. Having gone through the process of childbirth gave her a new perspective and passion to educate, train and treat pregnant and postpartum women to make their pregnancy and recovery after child birth as comfortable and complete as possible.

When she is not working, Lynzi enjoys spending time at the beach with her family, running, kickboxing, snowboarding, knitting, poker, and anything active.


Kelly Oh
Kelly Oh, PT

Kelly Oh, PT

Kelly is a licensed physical therapist with a doctorate degree in physical therapy from Loma Linda University. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology at the University of California at Irvine in 1997 where she rowed for the UC Irvine Varsity Women's Rowing team.

Kelly's specialties include sports medicine, orthopedics, and women's health. She utilizes manual skills including Maitland and Craniosacral therapy concepts as well as incorporating correction of movement dysfunction and Pilates-based therapeutic exercises. Achievements include treating cast members of the Disney's broadway performance of the "High School Musical" during their tour in Orange County, California.

Kelly enjoys exercising at the gym, playing at the beach, and spending time with her fiancé and her English bulldog named "Spanky".


Danica Halverson

Danica Halverson, PTA

Danica Halverson is a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant. She received her B.S. in Human Biology at Biola University. She attended the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Cerritos College while working as a physical therapy aide at Body Awareness.

She is currently specializing in treating Women's Health patients, but enjoys orthopedics as well. She has recently added the study of craniosacral therapy to her practice. Danica would like to increase her exposure to treating pediatric patients as her favorite clinical internship was working at Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC).

Danica lives with her husband in Huntington Beach. She enjoys hobbies such as jogging, gardening, and is currently learning to surf.
